Sustainable evidence-based antimicrobial stewardship in primary care

We are EASSI-PC

The Evidence-based Antimicrobial Stewardship: Sustainable Implementation in Primary Care (EASSI-PC) trial is a national research initiative funded by the Medical Research Future Fund Clinical Trials Activity grant.

We are working with general practices across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia to test practical ways to improve antibiotic use in primary care, slow antimicrobial resistance, and support safer care for patients.

Are you a GP interested in practical ways to support antimicrobial stewardship?

We are recruiting general practices for a national trial exploring sustainable approaches to improve antibiotic prescribing in primary care. Your involvement will help build practical, evidence-based solutions for general practice.

Are you a GP interested in practical, low-effort ways to reduce unnecessary antibiotic use?

We are inviting GPs to complete a 10-minute survey about their current practices, preferences, and attitudes toward antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) strategies in general practice.

Your response will help shape a more tailored, practical, and GP-driven approach to AMS implementation.
