Nudge Posters (poster on prescribing policy)

GP practices can display a poster in their waiting room and/or examination room to highlight GPs’ commitment to following Australian guidelines. A poster could be endorsed by adding the GP’s photographs and signature. Posters could help raise awareness of the importance of appropriate antibiotic use or set expectations for a no-antibiotic script.¹ Posters have been shown to be effective as part of an antimicrobial stewardship intervention for reducing inappropriate prescriptions.²¯³
